Kim finds the way through

Kim has lived and practised family law in Penticton for over 20 years. She is an accredited Family Law Mediator, Parenting Coordinator, and Family Law Arbitrator. While her current practice is strongly focused on out of court resolution through mediation, negotiation, and the collaborative process, her experience in litigation means she is able to guide her clients through the court system when a collaborative approach is not successful or possible.

Kim has a keen interest in drafting agreements including those for cohabitation, prenuptial, marriage and settlement.

Kim is known for her clear guidance and thoughtful approach, particularly in matters involving children and family reorganization. She understands the value of children’s voices and is sensitive to the impact legal proceedings can have on family life. Her work is grounded in helping clients move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and stability.

Kim is on the Mediate BC Family Roster, the Mediate BC Child Protection Roster, the Hear the Child Society Roster, the BC Parenting Coordination Roster and the Child and Youth Legal Centre Roster. She is deeply involved in the community, including running a Youth Legal Clinic at Foundry Penticton and participating in both the Penticton and District Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. When she is not working, Kim enjoys spending time with her family at the ski hill and on the golf course.
